Mia and Me - Season 3
By Mike Murphy Get ready for a new season of 'How I Met Your Father,' Hugh Jackman in an animated comedy, 'The 1619 Project' and more Hulu is adding a slew of TV series and movies in January 2023, including a new season of the hit "How I Met Your Mother" spinoff. That would be "How I Met Your Father" (Jan. 24), starring Hilary Duff. The rom-com series follows the format that made "HIMYM" a hit more than a decade ago, with a whopping 20 episodes dropping weekly. The Disney (DIS)-controlled streaming service also has "Koala Man" (Jan. 9), an animated superhero comedy starring the voice of Hugh Jackman; the true-crime docuseries "How I Caught My Killer" (Jan. 12); the relationship comedy movie "The Drop" (Jan. 13), starring Anna Konkle ("PEN15") and Jermaine Fowler ("Coming 2 America"); and the six-part limited docuseries "The 1619 Project" (Jan. 26), which attempts to reframe U.S. history by placing the consequences of slavery and cultural contributions by Black Americans at the forefront. Catastrophe was renewed for third and fourth seasons, with the third season set to premiere in 2017 and the fourth in 2018. The show airs on Channel 4 in the U.K. and streams on Amazon Prime Video. In posting an on-set photo to Instagram from Season 3's shoot, Horgan shared her thoughts on Fisher's sudden death, saying:
Horgan's message, along with a Tweet from Delaney about Catastrophe's final callsheet, indicate that Season 3 had just wrapped the week prior to Fisher's death. Thus, it seems that Fisher's undoubtedly hilarious and insufferably critical mother-in-law role will live on for another season. Fans are likely wondering what the loss of Mia will mean for the show, and how Horgan's character may have, in Horgan's words, "got her in the end," all important inquiries that will have to wait until the seasons air. 041b061a72
