Plot Summary
Shreyas Talwalkar (Swapnil Joshi) is a shy and introverted boy who is forced by his mother to join a college in Pune. There he meets DSP aka Digya (Ankush Choudhary) and his gang of friends, who are known as the Katta gang. They are a group of mischievous and rebellious students who enjoy life to the fullest. Shreyas soon becomes a part of their gang and learns to live freely and happily.
Shreyas also falls in love with Shirin (Sai Tamhankar), a beautiful and intelligent girl who studies in a medical college. Shirin is the sister of Pritam (Sushant Shelar), who is also a friend of DSP. Shirin and Pritam are the children of an MLA from Kolhapur, who hates Shirin for being a girl and wants to marry her off to Saai (Jitendra Joshi), a goon and his political ally.
Shreyas tries to woo Shirin, but she rejects him repeatedly. He then accepts Meenu's (Urmila Kanitkar) proposal out of spite, but is not sure about their future. Meenu is a sweet and simple girl who loves Shreyas sincerely. Meanwhile, Saai tries to force Shirin into marriage by threatening her and her brother. Shreyas and his friends decide to fight against Saai and his men to save Shirin.
On the day of Saai and Shirin's wedding, Shreyas and his friends manage to stop the marriage and rescue Shirin. Shreyas confesses his love to Shirin and she accepts him. Meenu also realizes that Shreyas loves Shirin more than her and sacrifices her love for him. Shreyas and Shirin get married happily.
However, it is revealed that Shreyas is suffering from a deadly disease (probably blood cancer) and has only a few months left to live. He hides this fact from everyone except DSP, who supports him till the end. Shreyas dies peacefully in Shirin's arms, leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship.
